The Darren Welch Group
The Darren Welch Group has been an Established Working RockRoll band for over ten years... Darren has had several successful bands over the years including Ground Zero Axxe Impeccable and Live Wire. Jesse had two successful bands The Swet Addicts and Zone before joining the Darren Welch Group in 2000... Eric Holmes joined the band in January 2006.He is a great drummer that has spent the last few years playing in Country star Daron Norwoods band . Eric has performed at the famous Grand Old Opery as well as venues across the United States. Most recently the band aquired Kevin Powell on Bass. A long time friend of Darren and Jesse he has been in the Lubbock music scene since 1985. Kevin has also been in several successful bands including Citizen Groovy Bender Peace of Ash and Broken Dayz. Darren and Jesse have opened shows for such greats as The Scorpions Montrose Jon Butcher Talking Heads Humble Pie Molley Hatchet Alice Cooper The Smithereens George Thorogood Ian Moore Cheap Trick Blue Oyster Cult Foghat Pat Travers Steppenwolf Ted Nugent Eric Johnson Joe Ely Bugs
